The show obviously checks all the boxes. Theres an old lesbian couple. Multiple interracial couples but non of which are asian male. An androgynous, half looking asian woman with interracial romance with a white man. Thats like 3 check boxes for the price of one. Absolutely great deal.

But then in season 2. Theres an asian man that is a backstabbing rat that doesnt even stand up straight.

Another asian man who is like a junior doctor, who is very timid. The patient even asks him if hes grown hair or if his balls has dropped or something along those lines and he doesnt even speak back.

Then theres an indian guy who is cowardly and is portrayed as the stereotypical IT genius. So far, the bad guy who is white (also ticks the boxes) has asked him for help to spare himself from working in the mines and hes working with enthusiasm despite all the abuse from the villain.
