I coincidentally started reading 1984 around the same time that I decided to start casually learning Esperanto about two weeks ago, and the similarities with Newspeak have been interesting.

I see that this topic has been discussed a few times, but what I’m interested in (as an interpreter myself) is the translation of the book into Esperanto. Has anyone read the book and can explain or give examples of the translator’s solutions to Newspeak in a language that works on a similar system?

I’ve been having a bad flare-up for about a year now, and I’m in the process of eliminating triggers.

My hands are an issue for me because I’m pretty sure it’s because of hand soap at home and at work, so I use some prednisone and it gets better but then soon goes back to how it was. Have you found anything that’s neutral enough to use really often?
