The thing I find so funny is how strongly people respond to Walter Russell's revelations... and anyone else's revelations, for that matter. The world receives them as if it's groundbreaking information, but if anything, it's a remembering of what always was. Such is the case with Walter Russell.
Naturally, this is a byproduct of the conflict between dual and non-dual perception. Their contrast alone creates dissonance. Growing up in a materialist/reductionist world that teaches separation from the age of infancy has its consequences (even shaping how reality is perceived, collapsed, and projected... That's a whole different story..).
So when somebody like Walter Russell comes along and gets a glimpse of the "All that is," the ground shakes.
But what's really happening?
One of the things that fascinates me so much about our reality is the mechanism by which experiences are had. Our whole dualistic framework teaches us that there are "things" to be "gained."
Nonsense.
The very constitution of our unified cosmos dictates that there are "states" to be "experienced." This is precisely why Altered States Of Consciousness open us up to different aspects of reality.
The materialist says that these are imagined.
The non-dualist realizes that the imagination is a subtler form of the same living reality.
Sometimes I like to sit and wonder what Walter Russell was experiencing during his 39-day coma-like altered state. I can only assume that he was interfacing DIRECTLY with structured forms of intelligence. And if he was able to either perceive or derive the shapes that he Illustrated in his artwork, I can only assume that he was resonating directly with the mental plane, the realm of structured thought.
