Can't add surround speakers to Denon 550 after connecting it to a wireless bridge...any suggestions?

Hi,

I'll try to keep this first part short, but for a long time now my 550 soundbar has had trouble staying connected to my wireless network. It connects for a number of days and then it drops. If I unplug/plug it back in it reconnects, and then it (and the two 250s and Home Sub I have connected to it for 5.1 surround) works just fine again for a few days to a week. I have tried everything, and even spent a week with Denon support with no progress. I'm convinced the network card is just going bad. If I run a ethernet cable to it, it works flawlessly. Otherwise, my wifi network seems solid. Nothing else and none of my other denon wireless speakers drop. The 550 is well past it's warranty period, and unfortunately Denon does not offer a repair program it seems.

So on to my current issue. I took an older spare wireless router that I have, and I turned it into a wireless bridge (so, connected to my WiFi signal, but it no longer outputs it's own signal) and use it as a hub to connect wired ethernet to my 550. That's working, but now, I cannot get my 250 and sub to setup to the 550 as surrounds any longer. My assumption is that the 550 can't "see" the speakers and that's why it can't connect to them, but I can't figure out why.

My WiFi network is a TPLink mesh system with 2.4 and 5Ghz signals. I have made sure the older router that is being used as a bridge is connected to the 5Ghz network. (my TPLink Deco app says it's connected to wifi 5 channel 40) and when I reconnected my two 250s and Home Sub back to the network, I can see in the HEOs app they are also connected to channel 40. I have also made sure they are all connected to the same hub in my mesh network.

I don't know what else to do to make this work. I appreciate any suggestions.
