NOW this will be everything shot with the extra flying scene added in and not too confuse people this will be the only extended version available from now on. This is the three different versions of the movie combined and unaltered (exception of recreating flying shot) the Us Cut , the International Cut and the Directors Cut featuring the original dialogue filmed.

Version 2 of the Final Cut is DOWN just now getting some tweaks and Version 3 will be available later this week.

Question would you like too see this missing flying shot of Supergirl escaping from the Phantom Zone added too the Final Cut? Using the original 4:3 background and trimmed down too 16:9 format then colour corrected from blue too a more lighter colour too match the movie , removing the blurry Supergirl footage and replaced with existing footage of Helen Slaters Supergirl. Quite a challenge but I’m very happy now it’s done No Ai used and all original footage. Too see this scene look at my original posts.

A small update on last years fan edit but a more polished version getting the tlc it deserves.

With James Gunns new DCU up and running with the latest instalment of the new Supergirl Movie there has been an interest in these fan edits again.

The Final Cut is what the US version tried too be years ago but with some obscure editing choices it was the least favourite version.

So in this edit it’s more about trimming it down for a more watchable experience. The Argo scene is moved too the beginning of the movie then the credits play after that. Through the whole movie flight scenes and fight scenes are sped up slightly as when you compare it too the original they were a little slow. So Faster Fights, Faster Flights. As well as the obvious some scenes are being removed but I’m not going through them and if you don’t agree with the editing choices you can see what’s cut out in an unfiltered approach and just watch my extended cut version 1 for now. One editing choice I did make was Kara never kisses Ethan although the scenes are still there. Some poetic stuff from Ethan cut out and there’s no more creaming bad dialogue from Jimmy Olsen. There is a fix when Supergirl grabs the digger , in all versions her stunt double grabs the digger then jumps too Helen Slater in all versions. You’d think they’d fix this. Scenes are tightened up and don’t drag on as much and the ending is tied up a lot neater and the story doesn’t change but your not sitting there for an extra half an hour looking at your watch. So enjoy a bright vibrant no filter version…

The lost flying shot will be in the extended cut version 2 only.

FASTER FIGHTS, FASTER FLIGHTS

So after many months away this gave me time too do real life stuff and have plenty of time too think , my apologies for coming off here but it’s been worth it.

What to look forward too…

A new cut that aims too please most but never all featuring new vfx from myself and some old vfx from previous Superman faneditors over the years. Fully edited by myself and getting what I think is my final edit before AI really takes over. This new edit I would only add deleted scenes if they were in HD and as present they are not, so there are no deleted scenes included.

For those that are new too my edits, it takes the best of Superman II Lester cut and Donners cut too come up with the most satisfying story conclusion for most.

No 8 min Recap.

There is no time travel.

Niagra falls boy saved improved and cut.

Clark lowers his glasses for heat vision instead of saving Lois (New Vfx by Krypton7887)

There will be 2 versions where Lois finds out Clark is Superman. The rug scene and the shooting scene. This will be the only difference between both versions.
