UAE/Dubai RTA Test – Will my Pajero mods cause any issues during RTA passing?
Hi everyone,
I have a 2008 Mitsubishi Pajero GLS SWB and I’m due for the annual RTA inspection. I’ve recently made a few modifications and wanted to know if anyone has experience passing RTA with a similar setup.
Current modifications:
* 2” suspension lift
* Roof rack
* 17” wheels (fit well within the body profile and do not protrude)
* All-Terrain tyres, but overall tyre size remains the same as stock
* Roof-mounted auxiliary lights are covered with black, non-transparent covers when not in use
The vehicle is otherwise in good condition and all standard lights and safety systems are functioning properly.
Has anyone passed RTA recently with a similar setup? Should I expect any issues, particularly with the 2” lift or the covered auxiliary lights on the roof rack?
Any recent experiences or advice would be appreciated.
