My wife is wondering if this is an appropriate dress to wear to a wedding in a few weeks. She’s worried that because it’s white, she can’t wear it. I say because it’s patterned the ‘no white’ rule doesn’t apply. Thoughts?

For context:
It was an e-vite wedding.
We got like 3 weeks notice.
They’re not serving dinner, just hors d’oeuvres.
The wedding is a childhood friend who we see once every 2-3 years.
