Very genuine question

In what way those two make a good ship ? How well written was the ""romance"" ? I see a lot of people trying to defend yuunoa but I'm suprised for real ! Like, what's the appeal ? How is it even a good love story ?

We got Shinoa's perspective on it, that's okay but absolutely nothing from yuu's side qo I really can't understand why some people would objectively cpnsider it a good romance

Also before you come to me, I'm not especially a YuuMika shipper or anything, I truly don't expect them to end up together at the end. Truthfully, I'm on the side of both of them dying at the end. But even I understand the YuuMika shipper, cause irronically, their bond is much more developped on both side compared to Yuunoa

Let's think about it. When we met guinevere, she said her getting kidnapped was always fated to be, meaning that her getting to Cathur and telling him the future happened as it should have and what she saw in her dream were always the events playing through right now.

How I would have love for Sayuri and Shigure to be more than what we got from them (in catastrophe and seraph)

I think we can agree that Kagami wrote them to be mere Guren simps, which can be explained by how they were raised : the Ichinose sect, they were most probably basically thaught to worship the main branch, leading to them being mindless follower, unable to think critically when it comes to their master.

When we start from this, I can get there character to some extent.

But still, I wish Kagami could have given us something else. Especially for Sayuri. Man, I love her but DAMN she's really just a tool for questionnable fan service and the definition of a damsel in distress.

I mean, I understand very well, she and Shigure are not as powerful as Guren, I get it, but there should be other way to make those two shines.

I would have absolutely love to see them challenge Guren in some way. Could have been possible in the name of protecting him or something like that, one of them could very well take it upon herself to sneak in his room and take those documents Mahiru gave him that time in Catastrohe and that he hid from everyone until I don't remember what chapter.

They could have react in some way when Guren try to off himself with Mahiru (in catastrophe again). I mean that's rough you know ? Aside from being in love with that dude, he's basically your friend and someone you knew for so long. And then you see him jump out without a care about YOU and what will happen to YOU once he's dead. Like, I don't know, one of them could have confront him about it, about the fact that they seem to mean so much less than a girl he barely met as a child and that endanger is whole clan and family

Those were examples, but Idk, I would have love to see this type of dynamic between them, especially with Sayuri in fact. The potential man...

I need a bit of help to see if I'm overreacting

I've been writing several fanfic for a specific fandom for a while now and there's always this person who come and comment on my fanfic (which I appreciate). From time, I'm even telling her some more info on my world building etc...

Come today and this girl just dropped her own fanfic for the same fandom. And there, I see she's taken an huge element of my own fanfic to put it in hers.

To be more precise, the story for which I'm writting is setting on the equivalent of middle age, great britain. I added a whole ass kingdom specialized in constructing machines, steampunk style with cogs and everything. These machines does not exist at all in the original setting.

And I just read her do the same thing, implementing this type of machines in her own fanfic for the same fandom.

So I was wondering, is this plagiat at all ? Or am I overreacting ? I genuinly don't know, I feel like she rip off my ideas to put into her story and try to twist it a little bit, but she didn't even talk to me about it, that's why I'm feeling I'm making a big deal out of nothing...
