New Business Class “Light” Fares

Just read an article about KLM introducing the Light/Standard/Flex fares for business class from Sept 8th. Similar to what you can book for economy.

While I do think it’s great, I think in reality it will result in higher prices if you want the current BC experience.

Between this and the catering reduction in Europe - it does feel like they are moving to a much cheaper, less customer focused model.

Edit: this is for reward tickets - I hadn’t realised it was already in place on the paid fares!

Got offered €300 flight credit to change a short haul flight!

Interesting one this week for me, booked ages ago to fly short haul on Wednesday night. On Saturday got a text (assumed spam - thanks Odido…) but also an email, offering €300 flight credit per person to change to any other available flight!
As we are flying to see family, suited us to go the night before!

Never been offered this before, also never heard it so far in advance!

Pull Switch for New Bathroom Dryer

Hi everyone!

Just had our Miele dryer of 10+ years give up and now looking at replacements - we have 2 sockets at the red dot in the diagram behind the washing machine and dryer.

Do we need to get an electrician in to put in a pull switch or can we keep the current set up?

Don’t want to get the installation service for them to say they won’t do it.

Thanks for any advice!

Edited due to the full post not posting the first time.
