Chihuahua butt problem?
So I have a chihuahua around 3-4 years old. We are pretty sure she’s fixed we got her at a bit over a year old but we took her to the vet and they were pretty sure she had a scar from being spayed.
So the last couple days she’s been a bit off, not being as social and wanting to spend time in her crate, but today it’s been worse. She’s been crying and licking her bum area a lot, but she’s been bathrooming fine most of the day but now you try and look at her bum and she cries. She’s also dramatic though, this is the same dog who stepped on a piece of scotch tape and cried and whined like she was mortally wounded.
Anyway from what we can tell she’s not red or inflamed down there and I seen online that it could be anal glands oozing but we don’t see anything there. Our vet is closed right now and if she continues like this throughout the night we are going to call the vet in the morning, I just thought I’d ask for some advice first.
