I’ve been trying to make sense of Carol’s rank, but I don’t think I can 😭
What do you mean “allowed to temporarily upgrade from Major to Colonel on missions?” In the Air Force, the only way to be temporarily promoted is if there was a critical shortage, not for “clout.” And if Carol’s Colonel rank is a sham that’s just meant to make her look better, then why is she referred to as a Colonel in Avengers (1998) 26 when she retired from the Air Force as Major? What is your real rank girl 😭
