Hi folks, planning a build of an outdoor table for my new patio. I wanna build a 10 foot table with PT pine. Took inspiration from rogue engineer's "pottery barn" recreation but wanted to use some joinery to maybe reduce the potential for racking. His design held together only by pocket screws makes me a little anxious. Would those of you with more experience than me mind having a look and offering your thoughts?

I used a free web app to make designs, couldn't figure out how to represent pocket screws or corner braces well but I'd try to put those in where they seem to make sense

Design one: 6x6 legs with a castle/rampart joint, 2x4 aprons joined with half lap and corner braces to the legs, 2x6 table boards joined with half laps (do I need under supports here?)

Design two: 6x6 timber frame with castle/rampart joint supported by corner braces, 2x6 table boards, 2x4 under-supports (secure to table boards and timber frame with pocket screws)

Appreciate your thoughts!
