Even men aren't safe in this country

So I have to get it out of my chest. My sister's one mutual friend let's say Apple, and 2 other friends of apple (3 people in total) went to goa recently for some work trip and after 2-3 days their work was complete i guess so two of the friends suggested that we should go out tonight to some beach and have some fun but apple said that he was very tired and needed some rest, he said you both have fun but I'll sleep.

So the two of them left for the beach around 2AM or so, they returned at around 4-5 AM, covered in blood, they told the apple "chal apan ko police complain karwani h" and then they both told him that at the beach they met 5 men (2 foreigners) and they made them friends. Those 5 people suggested some place where they invited them to a party and both of the apple's friends were r@ped to the point there was blood (not entirely sure how they got injured but i guess they were beaten up while trying to resist).

Bro what? This happened to 2 strong grown up men (age 22-23), and if they're not safe, how can I expect my safety. I'm a weak ass girl who's already so afraid of everything. I am still so traumatized by this. Mai to itni bhondu hu that I call myself an extrovert and try to talk to everyone as if they're my long lost friends. Ugh but in this economy, trust is something you should not sell. Take care guys don't make stupid decisions just because your friends are pressuring you. I'm glad atleast apple was safe. The world is not a great place and the fear will just never leave :(

They did file a complaint let's wait for the media to cover it but it's India. Also men are like "hum to kisi ko bhi 10 min m dost bana lete h, bina kuch jaane hi hmari vibe match ho jaati h" please don't, for your own safety. Girls are usually cautious but men trust easily for fun and thrill and the cravings for new spontaneous experiences but it's not worth it guys. Don't. Trust. Anyone. Instantly. And. Don't. Go. Out. With. People. You. Don't. Know. Acche. Se.
