G Pro X 2 Sounding too Muddy
I just bought them yesterday and I was pretty disappointed with the audio quality. I adjusted the settings in G HUB and most importantly disabled Surround Sound because that setting makes everything sound 10 times worse, everything was really bassy with it on, after all this they sound better but the sound still feels a bit muffled/muddy. I had a pair of HyperX Cloud Alpha before and when I use them everything sounds so crisp and clear and it shouldn't, there is no way that a pair of 60-70 € headset could sound better than a 160 € one. I really hope that it's a me problem or that I got too used to the way the Cloud Alpha sounds and I'll just get used to the new ones because I want to give them a chance and not return them like a picky fool. If somebody knows maybe they can tell me, are HyperXs known for having a more high pitched EQ? In the screenshot you can see my G HUB settings, with these I find them sounding the best but they still aren't what I was expecting, if I turn de 750 Hz up everything sounds like it's played through a cup or something. I don't want to use other EQ applications, YET. I'd be very thankful if someone could tell me if they had the same problem and how can I fix it.
