My experience with the controller so far:
After trying out the controller for 2 days, I decided to post a short review about the controller and my whole experience with the ordering and shipping process.
I ordered my controller on the 4th of May, approximately 15 mins after launch. It took me around 25 minutes to actually complete the purchase since the order processing site kept on crashing. Luckily in Europe the controller still wasn't sold out even after 40 minutes. The delivery process was pretty messed up. I was one of the people whose controller was sent to the Uk by accident so the total delivery time was around 2.5 weeks. Luckily the Steam support did offer me a free game of my choice :D , though it did take them some time to respond to my ticket (2.5 days). GLS didn't attempt a delivery to my house and pretty much just drove by and later claimed that they couldn't reach me. The pick up station was really close by and I was able to pick up my controller on the same day.
Surprisingly there was no visible damage with the packaging despite the controller travelling all around Europe. The controller was spotless as well, no scratches, no visible damage, not even a speck of dust. The pairing process worked flawlessly and all buttons work perfectly fine.
The gaming experience:
The controller fits perfectly fine with my medium sized hands. I didn't really use the touchpads so far in any game but they have a nice feedback and seem to work well. I never had any issues with accidentally pressing the back buttons, as some people here have reported. The connection works pretty well. I can use the controller on my couch in my living room despite there beeing a 50cm/20inches brick wall +2m/80 inches of distance between my pc/the puck and my controller. I tried the controller on a few games so far and they all worked flawlessly, although most of them recognised the controller as an Xbox controller and used it's layout.
Overall my experience with the controller until now is pretty amazing. The ordering process was a bit suboptimal and the delivery process was pretty nerve racking, especially during the time when I didn't know if my controller would even arrive at all but by offering a free game as compensation, I pretty much got the controller for half of its price, Thanks Valve <3
