I was recently looking back at scrolling and I decided to make a video on it! There are a lot of mechanics that I think make scrolling interesting, but one that pops up a lot is dummy scrolling. I go through dummy scrolling in this video and the reasons why it may or may not work, but I’m curious to know if you guys believe in dummy scrolling? Hope this kills some of the boredom while waiting for release!
While waiting to get rejected from the next CBT, I figured I would dive into the history of jump quests. I found that over time Nexon added JQs for various progression reasons. They always seemed so frustrating but fun to me, so I was curious what everyone thought about jump quests and their place in classic world? Personally, I’d like to see them return sparingly in content and make them worthwhile to do. Additionally, please add checkpoints before my keyboard breaks.
Calling all Henehoes! I saw a bunch of people making videos about why they are excited to play classic so I decided to get back into animating to talk about my reason! It’s not like the game is coming out anytime soon lol. I love talking about game design and I think the party exp is one of the changes I am most excited about and thought other people might enjoy this as well!
