Is the Warlock able to crush endgame content?
I am a decently seasoned D4 player, although haven’t played in 1-2 seasons since I was preoccupied with other gaming ventures. I bought the expansion with hopes of the Warlock and Paladin being strong. Warlock seemed to fit my style of play better, but I am having doubts that it is a strong character at all. Last time I played was season 11 and I made a classic WW Barb on my own that got to T4 but did not crush any content there. My goal is to always get my character to the highest torment even if it can’t be unstoppable there.
That being said I am cruising along quite easily in T3 at around level 60 Paragon. I recognize I am going to have to put in some effort soon, but I am worried it won’t be worth it if I am going to have to really grind to crush endgame stuff up to T12.
I don’t mind using a build guide this time because legendary drop rate seems lower and game mechanics with materials have changed. However, the top build is sitting B tier in all lists.
Is it worth continuing for fun and ease since I don’t have to make a new character or should I stick with the Warlock and just grind it out? I would hate to hit a wall where I can’t crush content.
