Why did they split まいにち into まいに and ち? „Day“ means にち(日) right? Is that their mistake or am I missing something?

I wear a waterproof SPF (Anessa) every day. Do I need to double cleanse with an oil cleanser, or is a regular cleanser enough? Especially now in summer when I'm reapplying 2-3 times a day.
Also, any good cleanser recommendations available in the EU (Germany) or from YesStyle?
I’m 25M and I use actives like vitamin C and retinol.
