What roles could get my foot in the door?

People always say to get or look for a job that will "get your foot in the door", I'm wondering what that is for Cybersecurity?

I've recently got my national diploma in software engineering but have no desire to progress in software engineering as a career. I want to get into full-time work ASAP but don't want to get into a career that won't help me pursue cybersecurity.

How long did it take to do the knee to wall test for you?

I've been working on my ankle dorsiflexion for a few months because I really want to/ need to be able to squat that low for things like pistol squats, inline skating tricks, and just to be able to have that range of motion comfortably. I've been tracking how far I can go with the 5 inch wall test and ive been making slow but steady progress from not being able to squat down comfortably at all with my hips really high up or my spine really rounded to being able to get my hips low to my heels but my heels still lifting like 4 inches off the ground, but I don't know what is a reasonable timeline for achieving it.

No one has really posted progress pics for this on this sub either.

What is a reasonable timeline for this test and how long did it take for anyone to do it if they can?

Any Books you would recommend?

I live in the uk and I graduate next year with a Bcs in Software Engineering and have found genuine desire to pursue a career in Cybersecurity through it being one of my core modules, software engineering is cool and all but Cybersecurity unlocked some part of my lizard brain and i trust that this is the direction I want to take my life in. I love learning from books and often prefer it to lecturers and videos and wonder if there are any books anyone recommends that would help me. I am essentially a complete noob when it comes to Cyber and am wondering if there even are good and proper books for getting into these sorts of roles, I haven't yet decided what specifically to learn about yet but I know it will come to me when it does, like I said: Lizard brain. I'm sort of looking for like a general starting point for Cybersecurity, If it helps i really enjoyed The art of exploitation by Cole Ericson before I had to return it. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Recently noticed this weird bump on the outside of my pinky toe. It doesn't hurt or anything and is kinda squishy, something to worry about?
