Missed my first Defqon.1... Is Decibel worth it this year?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice and would love to hear about your experiences.
I've been into hardstyle for about five years now and this year, after trying to learn as much as i could about the scene (even though I am still a newbie), i decided to attend my first ever festival with my gf and ofc it was Defqon.1. Unfortunately, for reasons everyone knows, we never got the chance to experience it.
I had been looking forward to that weekend for months, and not being able to go has left me wondering what a hardstyle festival is really like and what it could be emotionally for me, for better or worse. We've already decided to keep our tickets for Defqon.1 2027, but I'm struggling with the idea of waiting another whole year and so here's my question for those with more experience: As a complete first-timer, going alone because my girlfriend can't join me, and with some english speaking problem, would it make sense to attend Decibel this year for one or two days? I'm hoping it might give me at least a taste of the experience and emotions I was hoping to have at Defqon.1. I've been reading that Defqon.1 is usually the best festival for first-timers and international visitors, while other festivals like Decibel, Intents or Rebirth tend to have a more local and expericned crowd. What do you think? Would Decibel still be worth it in my situation, or would you recommend waiting for Defqon.1 next year (or maybe also w8 for Rebirth so i can attend with my gf before defqon)? Thanks everyone for the patience! 🧡
