How many months without an offer is normal?

My parents are selling their place. Basic details is its very big, but a little awkward due to 30 years of personalisation. 2 bathrooms but both on the same floor. Big yard, but overgrown/some areas unmaintained. New (but small) bathrooms. Reasonable larger kitchen. 5 bedrooms, but 2 sheds and tons of undercover space which is great for size but not great for maintenance/cleaning. It has quite a specific aesthetic that is not currently trendy, and some of that is not easily reversed.

Based off similar properties recent sales and its unique pros and cons, I think it should be on the market for 1.25-1.3m. 4b2b houses with better maintained yards have been selling for 1.2m.

However, the agent insisted on 1.5m and just wait till someone wants it as she insists there is someone out there who would love it. After 3 months of no offers, they've agreed to drop price to 1.4m. It's been another month, still not a single offer. The agent is adamant about keeping it at 1.4m and not lowering it.

I'd like perspective/a reality check: is 4 months with not a single offer or significant interest normal at the moment? They've had an open home every weekend. Ive not sold a house before, but the REA does seem a little odd/peculiar to me, which probably isn't helping my bias.

Thank you.

Adrenalyn football cards - searching for assistance

Hi all,

My 7yr old son has his 2026 invincibles adrenalyn card stolen (from those packs you get from EB games, kmart etc). The other kid tricked my 7yr old into handing the card over to look at it, then just refused to hand it back. The kid's dad was called over but he refused to do anything either. My 7yr old is absolutely devastated and I'm having alot of trouble trying to replace the card. If you or anyone knows of one I am happy to pay for the card + postage. Obviously much easier to get it via local postage. Thanks all, hope you have a great week ahead.

Testing before continuing?

35yr old bathroom, pulled back the first tile to find a black waterproofing membrane.

Can't tell if im overreacting or not. There appears to be alot of black/dark layers positively identified as a high asbestos risk on reddit

JB order cancelled!

Edit: SOLVED... turns out 2x seperate people ordered the same item for the same address.

Ordered correctly, using details and a CC I've used on the JB website countless times before including for previous TCG releases. Got my order confirmation screen.

20 minutes later, got an email saying my order is cancelled as my details didn't end up passing verification processes.

I've emailed them back but the cards are long gone anyway. So frustrating, has anyone else had this happen? I really thought I finally had my BB :(

Mould in kitchen?

Coincidental finding. Repairing a wall nearby and found this. It isn't near any tap and it appears dry? Is it a mould? I don't want to cover it back up before I check if it's something to panic about

Hello,

Finally getting an EV in the family - currently looking at the Atto 2 premium.

I know this seems a bit niche but my last problem was so bad I am still rough from it. If you own an Atto 2 - have you had any rodent issues, or know if it's more susceptible? Or any Atto I suppose?

My property/family has had 4 cars... 3 of them were untouched by rodents (we live rural, plenty of rats and mice around). But our 4th car - a Rav4 - was ruined by them. No matter what we tried to do, they got in the cabin and made nests. They wrecked the wiring twice and we required a tow truck, they destroyed multiple car seats and seat belts. Left droppings everywhere. Despite the car being clean and a rodent deterrent wired into the motor. We poured 1000s into the problem before giving up.

Given the above experience you can imagine my interest in asking around :(
