Description of Original Problem: Monitor loses signal (black screen) during gaming like with (Fortnite, The Last of Us, Asassins Creed Syndicate). Audio continues briefly, then stops. GPU becomes disabled in Device Manager. System remains powered on but requires restart to recover display.
The problem does not occur when using a different GPU (RTX 2060 Super), which works normally under the same conditions..
Troubleshooting:
- Clean driver installs using DDU and reinstall amd drivers (multiple driver versions tested)
- Switched PCIe from Gen 4 → Gen 3
- Tried undervolting (auto + manual)
- Reduced power limit (max -6%)
- Lowered FPS cap (even 60 FPS)
- Temps are normal (no overheating)
- Replaced PSU (750W → 1000W)
- Replaced Motherboard
- Issue occurs across multiple games
- only games i can play are small games that dont use much resource
