Hello there.
Years ago I started my first playthrough. I didn't like it very much, spent 14 hours running around like a maniac blindly, got to laddery and poisony level and decided that suffering a game I couldn't understand wasn't worth it. From what I understood, I crippled my run by having and using special key, which made me unable to navigate properly.

So I ask you, souls fans, what should I do for 'almost blind' playthrough to suffer a bit less of 'what am I even doing' and actually have fun?

Back then I was trying to build myself as two-handed warrior, but it was hard to play with slow rolls, so I used big weapon and shield, which was, I think, sub-optimal.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Was there any chance that after becoming ascended Vin could come back to normal life, as in, continue living with El? Or was she to always be his guardian angel from this moment onward?

That's of course discarding what's happening at the moment she is ascended.
