My first Granny square blanket and I think I’ve done an awful job. 😭
HELP! Hello there. I have been working on this blanket daily for months. I wet blocked each square after I made it. I do realize now that not all my squares are even. I read that tension can vary from day to day and mood lol. I have now joined all of my squares together and the blanket is not laying flat at all.
Can this be fixed by washing it and blocking the entire blanket? If so, how do you block such a large item? I live in an RV so my space is extremely limited.
Should I wash and block before or after adding the border?
Another thing I’ve noticed are holes in the corners after joining. Can those be fixed?
I have put a lot of time and love into this and I am feeling super discouraged right now. This blanket is for my best friend and she payed for the yarn. I’m a little embarrassed because I feel like I did shi**y work. Any suggestions would be appreciated. TIA!
