Delay the game
The Vietnam War started on November 1st, 1955. Keep improving the game and release then to commemorate the 71st anniversary of the war or push it further to January 27th, the anniversary of the Paris Peace Accords in 1973, when the war finally ended.
You have something really promising here but it needs more time in the oven.
Give the game the time it needs, unlike the decisions that started the real conflict, this one doesn't have to be rushed.
