Beginner friendly way of cleaning a movement
Hello everyone!
I have this 6119C disassembled.
It is my father's watch from the 70s and he recently gave it to me.
It was in one of those TV case, which was completely disintegrating. I don't believe it was ever serviced, but it did actually run after all these years.
As I am a beginner I don't have access to many tools or cleaning solutions.
I was wondering if it is a good idea to clean it with IPA and soft brushes, before lubing it and putting it back together.
Any advice is welcome.
