Has anyone run into the same issue as me? After cleaning the sensor on my Xperia 1 V, the camera started glitching like in the video. To describe it more clearly: every time I open the camera, it focuses on a near object first before hunting for distant focus (which takes about 30 to 60 seconds).

On top of that, whenever I switch lenses, the viewfinder goes black for a moment—like a severe delay—before actually switching. Lately, when I record video, the screen freezes for the first few seconds as well.

Is anyone else dealing with this?

Just received the Xperia 1 VIII and immediately took it out for a field test with a friend. I’m honestly blown away, especially by the telephoto lens. The macro shot of the eye was the absolute highlight for me, followed by a few other frames—most of my shooting today was dedicated to pushing that telephoto to its limits. The 24mm main is already rock-solid, so I didn't bother testing it much. But man, running it side-by-side with the 1 V? It makes the 1 V look like a toy, haha.

Optics aside, the real showstoppers this year are the upgraded acoustics and the refined ergonomics. The speakers sound incredible, and the hand-feel is a whole new experience.

Anyone interested in a detailed head-to-head comparison with the predecessor?
