Hello! My 10 yr old son (ADHD/SPD/OCD) has always refused to wear shorts. He wears swim tights/leggings for swimming and the only pants he feels comfortable in are skinny jeans from The Children's Place and Hannah Andersson long john pj pants - because they are close-fitting and they don't move around on his skin. We live in Georgia and he really needs summer pants for camp. We've tried all of the cooling lightweight pants but they are always too loose and he hates the "floaty" feeling on his skin. Last summer at camp he would alternate between swim tights and jeans but it would be great to find a different option! Also, he has a very thin frame so anything looser than a skinny fit won't work.
