I have been wanting to get back into HL: Alyx for a while, but I've been having issues with my PCVR setup. This glitch keeps happening with the link, and I cant seem to find anything about it online. I'm not that good with computers, so I don't want to go through the hassle of getting PCVR screen recording to work. These mspaint drawings are the best I could get. I'm using a Quest 2 with a USB-3 Link Cable. I have already checked my drivers, my Windows updates, my Oculus app updates, my PC updates, my headset updates, using Air Link, and my Link Cable. No results from any of them, although the Link Cable test itself failed when preformed while the glitch was occurring. When the glitch occurs, the Oculus app on my computer still thinks the headset is linked, even if it is unplugged. The only "Fix" I have found is fully shutting down the Oculus app with the Services program, and then rebooting it. Then it will allow the headset to re-link (and then freeze up again 10 minutes later). Hope I've provided enough info for this to get solved.
