i just moved into a complex the first weekend of May. i live on the first floor. these sounds have been coming from my upstairs neighbors place for like a week+ now. very loud, consistent, and last about all day into the late night

the first video is from 8 AM yesterday, and the second video is from 10 PM yesterday (im posting this past midnight)

it really doesnt sound like regular walking, much more like a hammer. but who the hell hammers something all day? i really cant tell what it is but its starting to annoy me, especially since quiet hours are 10 PM - 8 AM and these sounds occur from dawn till midnight+

first pic is my tree fully, next are the craters i noticed

for context i did probably move the tree outside a little too fast. i moved from a basement apartment to an apartment with a screened-in patio, and i have started putting the plant outside for some time to get some better sunlight.

recently, our dog busted through the screen (hes ok) and now its torn until the leasing company can fix it. is it possible that a bug got in and was eating it? there is no white fuzz on any of the craters. or is it sun damage? or something else

a lot of leaves turned yellow and fell off recently, probably from too much water. i have never had a green thumb, but i received this plant from someone and i want to try my best to keep it alive... its potted in cactus soil and perlite and in a well draining pot... any advice?
