Au pair visa for France – what to do
Hi everyone, we're a host family based in Paris, France and we're in the process of applying for a long-stay au pair visa for our au pair (Filipino, currently based in Belgium).
The visa checklist asks for "any document attesting to basic knowledge of French." Problem is, she doesn't speak any French at all.
Has anyone been in this situation? What did you submit? Did a simple enrollment in a French course work, or did the consulate require something more? Any advice welcome!
