Switching rackets — torn between Pure Aero 98 2026 and Head Speed MP 2026, need string advice too
Current setup: Tecnifibre TFight 305 (2023) strung with Hyper-G at 62 lbs. Level: 4.0, aggressive baseliner trying to develop a more all-court game. I demoed 5 rackets recently — Dunlop FX 500, Wilson Blade 98 v10, Yonex Ezone, Head Speed MP 2026, and Babolat Pure Aero 98 2026. The Speed and the Pure Aero stood out above the rest. Found out the Speed was strung with Head Hawk Touch which felt incredible. The PA was strung with something called P6 which I’d never heard of. I’m leaning PA but not fully committed. I’m a natural flat hitter that can generate heavy spin when needed. I’ve never played at low tension before and I think the lower tension sends my balls long. Looking for a setup that controls the flat ball that gives me spin without sacrificing power. Which racket fits my game better long term and what strings and tension would you recommend?
