Roy Emmersons vintage tennis racquet
Bought this a long time ago, any idea if this is really Roy Emmersons racquet? Would like to see whether this is worth keeping.
New Tennis Racket Wilson Blade Tour
I’ve always wanted a gold racket and here I am today I finally have my dream racket.🥹 The head is smaller than the babolot racket I’m used to playing with, but honestly, I got this racket just to look at and admire.🤩

Python / P98 / Redline Cosmetic
It’s giving “Temu Radical” - very disappointing after an awesome prototype cosmetic.
Racquet setup tips
I want to buy the Babolat Pure Aero Rafa 2021 edition and I am looking for advice if I should use Luxilon 4G strings at 22.5kg (because I read online that they are the most durable strings and with this line of pure aero racquets the strings break easily) or a string like Babolat Xcel at 25kg. I have been playing tennis recreatively since I was 10 and I am currently using Babolat C-Drive 102 (I dont know which strings I am using and the tension, I didn't change anything ever since I bought the racquet in 2013 and the strings are still very strong). My height is 178cm and my weight is around 68kg. Thanks in advance!
2025 Gravity Pro overweight?
343g with no mods or additional weight added. Strings are head multis.
'26 PA98 and '25 Speed Pro demo both came in ~332g.
Is 11g within random variance of the alleged 332g Gpro swing weight?
Yonex Vcore V8 alternative colorway?
Since Yonex gives us an alternate colorway for both the Ezone and Vcore frames, what are your guys thoughts on a Pearl White colorway for the Vcore V8 series?
I think the gloss of the V8 would be perfect for a white frame but wasn’t sure what accent color to go with. The Ruby Red has teal so had to go either neutral or a loud color like florescent yellow.
These are mock ups but please let me know your thoughts
Good beginner racquet for 35 year old male?
I’m interested in starting tennis and looking for recommendations for a tennis racquet. I’m a 35 year old male, 5’10”, 165 lbs
THOUGHTS?
Yonex Vcore Duel G 97 (310g) strung with Toroline O-toro Spin strings
Head instinct MP?
Good racquet for a 3.5-4 player in his 40s?
Head Prestige Pro 600
Got one of my dream rackets of all time today. Wasn't a bargain - had to pay quite a bit. Still, these are unicorn type of rare in my post-Soviet country so I knew I would be kicking myself if I skipped this deal. Bonus point for being just not "like new" enough to not stress over taking it out for a hit. It's been a while since I hit with a midsize and I have been missing the feel they got.
BTW specs are (strung, but no overgrip): Weight - 360 g Balance - 311 mm SW - 326 kg/cm²
What do we think of Dunlop FX 500 Lite?
Context: I'm in my early 40s, and getting back into tennis after 25 years. (I played in high school.) I've taken some weekly adult clinics and private lessons in the past three weeks to re-enter the tennis world. I definitely have some bad habits from high school and am trying to correct my form, etc.
I've tried out some demo rackets, and there's none that I feel a clear conviction about, but I am narrowing it down to the Dunlop FX 500 Lite. (Also thinking about Wilson Blade 100L v8, and possibly the Wilson Ultra 100L v5.)
I can generate a lot of power, so I want something to help rein that in, but I am wondering if that's actually more about my technique than the racket, necessarily.
Any input is much appreciated! I really want to purchase a racket asap! I'm so hooked!
My New Racquet
This is the racquet I bought — the Wilson SIX.LV.
Can't wait to get it on the court! Any tips, string recommendations, or things I should know about this racquet are welcome.
Do you own a signature racquet? What's your favorite model?
I put together a list of signature racquets used or endorsed by ATP and WTA players.
Personally, I think the Yonex EZONE 100 Osaka 2022 is one of the most beautiful ones. My second favorite is the Pure Aero Rafa. I liked it so much that I made the very responsible financial decision of buying five of them.
What’s your favorite signature racquet? And do you actually play with yours, or you just buy for collection purpose?
If you own one, share your best photo.
Here's the site if anyone want to play around:

Consolidated my collection down to 4 racquets
Any new recommendations on new racquet? Heard a lot of good thing about the blade.
What is the best string for my racket?I am a beginner and i just buyed Wilson pro staff precision RXT 105.And how can i find a playstyle?
reddit.comSimilar feel to a RF97 Autograph?
I've been playing with the v13 RF97 Autograph for a few years now and loving it. The stability, plough, and precision helps me play with the technique that I enjoy playing with.
The issue is that the Wilson paint is so poor that the composite material of the frame is exposed in several spots all over the racquet and I am worried about the longevity of it. I did pick up an RF01 Pro to keep the good times going but its paint is even worse (structural frame metal showing) and despite it keeping much of the character, I feel it lacks some degree of point and direct character.
Therefore, I'm looking for recommendations on current racquets that have similar feel. New old stock of the Autograph are going for crazy prices online. I like the character of the racquet but not so much that I'm willing to pay those prices.
I'm a weekend warrior and not actually interested in getting better, just enjoying playing the league I'm in so don't feel the need to convince me on changing the style of racquet.
P.S. I typically play with a multi/poly hybrid.
Head vs Yones grip shape effect
Hi all,
I would like to pick your brain on my recent dilemma (obsession) regarding grip shapes: (and how can I get Yonex feel somehow close to Head from a grip size perspective):
- I am an L4 size player and I have Head Speed MP, Yonex Vcore (2026) and eZone (2025) all in L4 sizes. I use wilson pro overgrip in all.
- I have been using Vcore 98 mainly but Head Speed MP also feels like "home" as I usted to be a prestige guy back in college days.
- The issue is: wile they are both l4 sizes, this damn Head grip feels like "home" as in when I hold it it fits.
- I am fully aware of the Yonex ve Head grip shape difference however I did not think that Yonex would feel "larger".
- My question>
- What is your experience between these two shapes? am i exaggareting the difference?
- Do you think it is more about the "bevel sharpness" issue or pure circumference issue?
- DO you think should I switch back to Head just because of this?
Wilson Python 16x20 Quality Issue?
It’s funny since, alot of other layups of the prototype does not have this issue at all. Especially with the rackets with the Wilson labs Sticker and authenticity sticker, no grommet issue like this at all.
I hate how the grommets are literally peeling away from the frame after hitting a few balls.
Legit just first time trying it out after getting it strung by a MRT racket tech.
Let me know yall!
Also… why does the butt cap feel so cheap??
