Two questions

U.S.A moving abroad for retirement

The plan is to have no domicile state when we retire to another country. Our entire estate is retirement accounts, brokerages, cds and cash. We sold our home a year ago. We have two paid off cars that we will sell or gift to our grown children before we leave. We have no debt. They are listed as 50/50 beneficiaries on all accounts. So two questions:

  1. Do we need a trust?

  2. If we do need one, and have no U.S. domicile, which state do we create the trust?

Found these foreign coins in my pile. The Netherlands coin is cool. Worth keeping any of these?
