Help with FD on flat bar conversion.

Pull ratios are on the rear for road and mtb are the same but 9 speed FD's have different ratios. Been reading lots of forum and reddit posts on the best was get a front derailleur to work with the current cranks and flat bars. I've come across options like the, Sora SL-R3030-L but having trouble sourcing the shifter in the states. I thought finding an MTB front derailleur would be the best and easiest solution but I can't seem to find one that can accommodate the 48 teeth chainring on the bike currently as well as being braze on or somehow one that fits the tubes clamp on size of 28.8. Hoping I'm missing something and can use the crank currently on the bike.
Any ideas, help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Currently thinking I might just have to swap the cranks out as well.
