We had the initial interview for a k-1 visa to green card process at the Tampa field office and everything went well but they needed different formats of the evidence (more official versions). We submitted the evidence about a week ago. Does anyone know about how long it takes to get a response (if the evidence is sufficient, since I was told that if the evidence isn’t sufficient they won’t let you know), is it one or two weeks or is it more of one or two months? Thank you for any insight you can provide.
TLDR: Two of the three comments that I received on my new WEBTOON comic seemed to appear to be people trying to sell me their services or ideas. What is the best way to handle those comments (delete, report, block, ignore)? I am just starting out and don’t have a big following.
I could really use some help with this since I don’t know how to best treat this situation. So I recently started making a WEBTOON comic (I kept holding off on it because I didn’t, and still don’t, have a whole lot of confidence in how I draw. I don’t feel like I can dedicate as much time as I would like to since I still work full-time and I can only really draw during my free time. I also need to use some free time to recover after work because my work requires emotional labor, which can drain me. And I really want to keep to my personal goal of a chapter every two weeks. But enough backstory.).
The first comment that I got was a really nice one that made me happy because they mentioned something that they like and that they really like the story so far. But the second and third comments, both seem to be promotional ones.
The second comment didn’t say anything about my comic and instead they just said that they would be really glad to create a drawing inspired by my comic and that they would give me the most affordable price and that they also have a few ideas in mind for me as well.
And the third comment, I don’t see it anymore, but it was definitely like a self promotion thing where it was something about me not having enough time to do self promotion and so I should reach out to this person on Fiverr or something and they listened to a specific person’s username.
What would you usually do in that situation, where people seem to be trying to sell you things in your comment section.
At no point in the description of my comic, in my comic itself, or in any comments that I have posted have I ever mentioned wanting to pay people for anything related to my comic. I am creating this so that I can bring this story to life. So that I can follow a passion of mine and see if I can keep up with a schedule and self discipline to create something that would make me very happy.
I’m not quite sure what to do related to the comments, is the best just to ignore them. Should I report them or should I delete them? Should I block them? (I’m just worried that if I do anything that interact with the comment that it could come back to bite me.)
Thank you for any advice you can offer.
(Comic creation has always been something that I have been very interested in doing. But I kept putting it off, thinking that I couldn’t do it or I couldn’t draw well enough or I wouldn’t have enough time or I couldn’t follow a schedule. Then one day I decided that I was just going to ignore all of those negative voices in my head and just start, so I did. That said because I decided to start one day randomly and I didn’t create a lot of hype around the comic first or promotional stuff. If I had started out with creating the promotional stuff instead of the comic I am pretty sure my procrastination and those negative thoughts would have won out and I would never have started. So now I am creating my comic and I’m trying to get it out their as I go. Honestly, I’m not really quite sure what I’m doing (if I’m doing it correctly or not) but this whole experience has been a lot of fun and very interesting so far (I’ve been experimenting with Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok - some with relatively more success than others). I just don’t understand why someone would try to sell someone something without there being any indication that that person has any interest in spending money.)
