WHY DO PEOPLE TRADE ME JUST TO DECLINE

i’m so freaking tired bruh i feel like i’ve been seeing this a lot ever since the rubber ducky update LIKE IT WAS NEVER THIS BAD BEFORE

but basically i have things in my LF and people trade me and before i even add anything or say anything they just decline the trade😭 then some people have some things in their LF which i have so i trade them ONLY FOR THEM TO ACCEPT AND THEN DECLINE😭 like once or twice is fine but it has gotten way out of hand

and i hate those fake traders so much like why are you wasting my time and getting my hopes up just to decline the freaking trade THAT U WANTED URSELF😭😭😭😭 i swear im gonna freaking quit adopt me if i get ragebaited again

this random girl said she was gonna give me free pets as she was leaving the game

hi! i feel like i know every scam on adopt me but this one kinda confused me. her profile looked legitimate like it genuinely looked like she plays regularly etc etc, she has like a NFR cow and some other good pets but who would give free pets away??

she suddenly traded me and private messaged me saying she was leaving the game and would give me pets for free, i was like oh ok- then she proceeded to ask me if i was a good person cause she only wants to give it to good people, and then she asked me if i had a friend to prove this, and later on she will ask my friend if she’s a good person too. (ik the good friend scam method)

then i told her that i knew this scam and that she better leave before my four accounts/friends ingame report her, but she proceeded to call me weird and was like huh. then she stayed in the game for the next twenty mins and i saw her doing it to another person too i think

is this a hack or what?? maybe i was gaslit into thinking that she really ISNT weird and that IM the weird one??
