My best friend needs help
What could this neck and head flexing back be a symptom of?
My cat is 17 years old and has always been healthy, but as of about a month and a half ago he had sounded like he had upper respiratory congestion/sniffles so we took him to the vet. The Vet said that he thought it could be from allergies which made sense to me at the time since he spends a lot of time on our balcony nowadays. We’ve been using Zyrtec and that seems to have now helped his congestion but then he had loss of appetite so we switched him from dry food to wet thinking he could be having dental issues and starting brushing his teeth. He’s been eating more now but now has developed this symptom in the video where he keeps flexing his neck and head backwards. I’m not sure if this could be something serious or something like an ear infection. He doesnt suffer any loss of consciousness when he does this, his eyes don’t show any changes and he still is able to walk and hop fine. Any ideas?
