Hello everyone, i can't decide between the Forerunner 965 vs. Forerunner 570.
Which one could you recommend (features, connectivity, perhaps known problems with one of them, ...)?
Suggestions and advice would be great! :)
A few weeks ago, I switched from the Garmin Forerunner 165 to a Garmin Forerunner 965. I wear the watch 24/7, but at night I enable airplane mode on my iPhone and only disable it again when I wake up.
With my Forerunner 165, the watch would reconnect to the iPhone immediately and without any issues in the morning via Bluetooth, and I would instantly receive push notifications on the watch again.
Unfortunately, this does not always work with my Forerunner 965 and is very unreliable. The watch reconnects to the iPhone via Bluetooth right away, but it does not receive push notifications and always shows the following error message instead (see image: waiting for data).
As soon as I turn Bluetooth off and back on again on my iPhone, everything works perfectly.
Is this perhaps a known issue, and does anyone have a solution for this?
