hi, just a question; I’d like go to uoft/utm (pref uoft) in life sciences but attend a american high school, currently in grade 11. I know in ontario high schools rhe pass is a 50, whereas my school is a 65.
Our scale is
0-64 F
65-73 D
74-82 C
83-91 B
92-100 A
grade 9 & 10 grades with only 2 honours and rest normal classes (82 average), my gr11 grades are as follow:
AP Bio 86
AP Psychology 93/94
AP Lang 93/94
AP Micro 86/87
Algebra 2 (Functions) 86
Sociology 104
Pre-Calc 93 (Advanced Functions)
(for the record my bio class’s average is like a 78-81)
Will UofT convert these grades from my school’s 65% scale to a 50% scale therefore lowering my grades in theory? Would that disadvantage me even though it’s out of my control in general to Canadian Uni’s? (I plan on applying to UofT, UTM, UW, Western as my 4 options in order)
