So for the past 5-6 months I have been trying to join the military which my sm was aware of. I went on paid parental leave about two weeks ago and finally got accepted but my orders are to leave two weeks before my leave is up. I was thinking of just turning in my keys the day before I ship but I’m still not sure of the policies surrounding not returning to work after leave. I’ve seen plenty of people do it specifically managers and dms ( I’m a lead), but I was wondering if anyone had an idea of what to expect.
