The layer bar keeps getting in the way!!

I’m right handed and I don’t like having the setting where both the tabs on the side go away. No matter how careful I am I keep accidentally clicking on a tab I’m not working in. How do I fix this? I’m on a Chromebook if that helps.

This is probably a dumb question but has anyone made a sourdough loaf that’s gluten free?

My mom has a severe gluten allergy and I really want to be able to make her a loaf that she can eat and enjoy. I know that part of making it is strengthening the gluten, but if someone out there knows of a way to make it be okay for someone with celiac!!

Has anyone messed with time?

Just found this sub and haven’t seen anyone post anything about this yet. I’ve been lucid dreaming since I was a kid (around 6 or 7) I didn’t know that’s what it was called till later.

So I don’t do this anymore because I learned my lesson. I went into my lucid dream the same way I always do. And mind you this was maybe only 2 years ago that I did this (I still think about it) I stretched time so it felt like i was there for literal years. I fell in love, I had a beautiful life and had most everything I could want (Side note: my real life was a mess at the time and I was miserable)

Well something snapped me back into waking state. Ripping myself out of that reality into this one sent me into a mental break.

Since then I don’t mess with time when I lucid dream.
Has anyone done it before? What was your experience?

I’m not sure what I keep doing wrong.

Every time I try to make a starter it happens every time.
Days 1 2 and 3 go the same. I do a 1-1-1 except the first which is half flour (bread flower) and water. Usually to start I use 1/4 cup flour/ 1/4 cup water.
The next day I pour the starter into a 1/4 measuring cup and put it in a new/clean jar with 1/4 cup of BF and 1/4 cup of water. I do the exact same thing also leaving it in a warm spot. I keep my house around 80° also the thing I keep on top is a folded paper towel and a jar ring.
On day 4 every single time attempt this it doesn’t rise it doesn’t do anything except stink. What am I doing wrong? I know some people weigh out everything but I don’t have a scale. Just using what I have. But that can’t be all thats wrong can it?

My exs mom is trying to “kidnap” my kid, what can I do?

Location: Arizona. So a few months back my exs brother passed away. Since then his mom’s been weird about needing to have my daughter (age 5) at her house. There was also some drama around this when it was brought to her attention. Spending the night (for context she adopted 2 of her grandchildren (ages 7 and 9) my daughter of course loves her cousins. She spent almost the whole summer over there, doing fun activities. But now every time I go to pick her up for something they have “plans” or conveniently aren’t home, even when I’ve set up the times beforehand of when I’d be picking her up. Like they don’t want me to have my own kid back.
What do I do? Should I show up with a police officer?

I’m brand new to portraits, any suggestions

So I’m new to drawing people. Usually when I paint/draw its landscapes and abstract. About 2 weeks ago I decided to start trying portraits. Idk what I’m doing wrong. I use sketchbook on my Chromebook if that means anything to someone.

Here’s a few of the “better” ones I’ve done. Anything constructive is welcome.
