I know how it may seem, and I don't know if it's the right tag, but I feel like this is more of a Spiritual theory.

It's a theory I've had for years.

But men who are notorious playboys or cheaters often get daughters, and those daughters grow up to be their worst nightmare.

I don't mean this in a bad way, and I don't think women (as a woman myself) are meant to be punished in general.

But I think they are given daughters as a way to learn a lesson about how they treated other women.

My first example, and the one who started this theory in my head, is my grandfather. He is a well-known cheater; his old daughters knew he was a cheater.

He never got a son, and even got twin daughters. (He has three daughters in total.

They all absolutely despise him and want NOTHING to do with him.

My father, who used to be a playboy and cheated on my mom, got two girls, but when he finally straightened himself out, he finally got a boy.

I see this in a lot of celebrities too, and people we know personally, most men who were rumored to be cheating, or at the very least, dated too many women, always get daughters first, maybe just daughters, some eldest daughters.

I highly believe in Karma, I don't usually believe in religion, but in Karma and the spirit of Life, and God? I totally believe that God placed a system in our world, and that system is Karma.

Whether good or bad.

Henry the 8th is also a good example of this; he wanted sons so badly that he married six women whom he hurt (or had killed)

He had two legitimate daughters and one legitimate son (but the son's mother ended up dying of childbirth)

In the end, when he died, the one who was considered their greatest monarch was HIS DAUGHTER.

Not even the son he badly wanted.

(Also, this post wasn't meant to be offensive to men! I just wanted to share my theory, and it just so happens I've observed it more with men, most likely because an average of 20% of married men cheat, while for married women it's 13%. In my country as well, there's a higher rate of men cheating.)
