Tyrell Wellick is gone, I wake up in his SUV and the world is about the fall apart.

For some reason, Leo loves riding the subway with my girlfriend. He's a true New Yorker.

Update on Leo's injury : Leo's leg wrap is off and he's now wearing a sock just to make sure he doesn't pick at or lick the cut while it fully heals. His injury didn't get in the way of him being the wild and happy puppy he is. It's been a month since the Knicks won the finals, but his fandom lives on.

First, I want to start off by saying Leo is OK and his normal self.

My girlfriend and I went on a well needed vacation for a couple of days and decided to leave Leo with one of her friends, who absolutely adores Leo. I didn't think twice about having to worry with her caring for him. The whole situation could have been avoided, and I think that is what is still making me so mad about this. On the other hand when the incident happened she didn't panic, and made the right decision to immediately take Leo to the ER. I almost don't even want to write how he got injured but long story short, she didn't pick him up when she had him on an escalator, and his paw got caught. There were no breaks or anything serious like that, but he did get a pretty bad cut right near his pads and nails. I can only imagine the pain and fear he was going through when it happened. The vets did an amazing job, and he is playing like his usual self.

The wrap on his leg can come off in a couple of days. We'll have to clean the area and then just put a sock or bootie over that paw until it heals, so he doesn't lick or pick at it. He is not letting this injury stop him from being a playful happy puppy. I'm extremely grateful that he is not severely injured given the circumstances, and it makes me cherish this little guy that much more.

NYC waited 53 years for this, I waited my whole life, but Leo only had to wait 9 months for a Championship. I cannot explain how crazy this feeling is, but I'm glad I experienced it with this little guy. He was with us every game. New York Forever.

About a month ago we were out and about in the city with Leo, when we decided to get something to eat. We asked the restaurant if they would allow us to bring Leo inside, and they graciously said yes if he didn't cause any problems. I was so surprised and impressed at how well behaved he was during dinner for a puppy that was 7 months old at the time. He sat so calm and relaxed the whole dinner like he's been out to restaurants before lol. He was definitely the center of attention the whole night, people kept coming over asking to pet and take pictures of him. So proud of this little gentleman.

No personal space allowed if I don't get up at 5:30 AM. Leo doesn't approve of sleeping on off days.

Leo is used to my girlfriend and I waking up around 5AM every morning for work. So the rare times we actually sleep later than usual he comes up the stairs on to the bed and just stares at us with disbelief. This will then turn into zoomies causing havoc in the bed until we get up to start the day.

Leo watches my girlfriend and I get ready and dressed for work every morning with such fascination. My girlfriend got him this, and this is what I walk into tonight.
