Please help us avoid eviction
I'm at the end of my rope and don't know where else to turn. I hate having to ask for help again, but my wife used to get disability before I started making too much and it was cut off, and now I'm down with what the doctors say is ME/CFS. Standing for more than 10 minutes, talking, thinking, bright lights, some days even the sound of traffic outside are all extremely exhausting and lead to me feeling like Ive been hit by a truck for the next few days. We've been able to barely scrape by since I lost the ability to work (last August) off of our meager savings as well as help from my old boss, but he can't help any longer.
My disability application is in the medical review stage, but we're behind on lot rent for our trailer and have nowhere else to go if we get evicted. We need $1000 more by 6/4 to cover our phones and the 7-day pay or quit notice and rent for the month of June ($177 more for the notice, $80 phones, $700 new rent) while we keep waiting. We've been selling off everything that we can, but are out of things to sell at this point. Being homeless wasn't bad when we were both able bodied, but now it would be a death sentence.
