Question for US/Canada owners: did Autosteer remain after cancelling FSD subscription if your car had it before the 2026 change?

Vehicle details: 2026 Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD, Germany / Europe.

I’m trying to understand how Tesla handles Autosteer entitlement after a temporary FSD subscription.

I took delivery of my Model Y about one month ago. My car has Autopilot listed in the Tesla app under vehicle specs, and I use Autosteer every day.

A few days ago Tesla changed the options here in Europe. As far as I can see, Enhanced Autopilot and the one-time purchase of FSD are no longer offered. The only option shown now is a monthly Full Self-Driving Capability subscription. However, actual FSD is not available in Germany yet.

My concern is that the FSD subscription screen lists Autosteer as one of the included features. Since my car already had Autosteer before this change, I’m wondering what happens if I subscribe for one month and then cancel.

Will the car simply return to its original Autopilot package with Autosteer still available? Or is there any risk that Tesla re-provisions the car and I lose Autosteer because Autosteer is now treated as part of the FSD subscription?

I’m especially interested in experiences from US/Canada owners after the January 2026 change.

Did anyone here have a Tesla that already had Autosteer before the change, then subscribe to FSD after the change, cancel it later, and confirm that Autosteer remained available afterwards?

I’m not asking about new cars delivered after the change with TACC only. I’m asking about cars that already had Autosteer before Tesla changed the packages.

Thanks — I’m trying to understand how Tesla handles the underlying Autopilot/Autosteer entitlement after a temporary FSD subscription.
