SIP Portfolio Review and Suggestions
27, investing ₹1.08L/month via SIPs.
Investment horizon is long term 15 plus years.
Looking for feedback on my portfolio structure and asset allocation.
Goal 1: Long-term wealth creation (₹80k/month)
Large Cap / Flexi Cap (40%)
Parag Parikh Flexi Cap – ₹19.2k
UTI Nifty 50 Index – ₹12.8k
Mid Cap (30%)
HDFC Mid Cap Opportunities – ₹14.4k
Kotak Emerging Equity (Mid Cap) – ₹9.6k
Small Cap (20%)
Bandhan Small Cap – ₹16k
Gold (10%)
Nippon India Gold ETF – ₹8k
Goal 2: Short-to-medium term goals (₹28k/month)
Kotak Arbitrage Fund – ₹28k
Annual travel fund
Insurance premiums
Miscellaneous planned expenses
A few questions:
Is the overall asset allocation sensible for someone with a 15+ year investment horizon?
Am I over-diversified in the large-cap and mid-cap buckets?
Is small-cap allocation too aggressive?
Does using an arbitrage fund for travel/insurance expenses make sense versus a liquid fund or short-duration debt fund?
Any changes you would make if this were your portfolio?
Would appreciate constructive criticism and suggestions :)
