Should I get wisdom teeth extracted if I’m a current stimulant user?
Hi all, for context I’m a 26f that hasn’t gotten wisdom teeth extracted yet, i’m terrified because I’ve never been sedated (they are impacted), and I’m a current amphetamine user😞 (nasal insufflation, please don’t hate😢I know it’s maladaptive coping). I plan on not using before the appointment, but how long should I be free of substances before my appointment for it to be “safe”? I also smoke marijuana daily and I have a prescription for (25mg) Zoloft that I take daily, do I have to disclose all of this, including the recent break from amphetamines?
One of my upper molars had broken off, and I’m wondering if it’s partially from my wisdom teeth putting pressure on it, or from slacking in brushing 2x/day? Will they remove this molar along with the wisdom teeth?
