I am a non-UK veteran, although commonwealth and I did fight alongside the UK in Afghanistan.

At home there is an expectation to wear medals with formal attire. Should I bring them to Oxford to wear at any event? Do I need to? would it be weird? If it was up to me, I wouldn’t, but it’s a small program and I am the token veteran… any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
