A bunch of framed butterflies (and some cranes)

I bought a pack of small paper squares, around 5cm in size, from a small shop that directly imports rolls of japanese paper.

I started doing cranes during remote meetings to keep my hands busy and switched to butterflies when a friend of mine asked me for some.

I usually offer the stuff I make to family and friends, but offering the butterflies directly felt a bit plain, so I framed them with the cheapest Ikea shadow boxes I could get.

Tried different things for the backgrounds (watercolours, patterns, cardboard...), let's say that there's something for every taste!

A bunch of frames are missing from the first picture since I already started gifting them around. People seem happy to get them and I'm pleased with what I managed to make, though I'd be a bit more careful if I were to put a price tag on it.
